Obituary of Deborah Lynn Jones

Deborah Lynn (Southard) Jones Age 73 of Horseheads, NY. She was born October 18, 1952 in Corning, NY, the daughter of the late Floyd and Daisey (Haupt) Southard. She passed peacefully with her family by her side and went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. In addition to her parents, Deb was predeceased by her stepfather Joseph W. Brady; sisters Vickie Callahan, and Susan Gloskey; and brother Ricky Southard. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Joel Jones; her children Heather Chapel (Troy) Burkholder, and Christopher (Tiffany) Chapel; grandchildren Trista, Tamera, and Camden; sisters Candice (William) Bower of Corning, NY, and Lisa (Forrest) Stephens of Painted Post, NY; brothers Michael (Heidi Reed) Southard of Campbell, NY, and John Brady of Corning, NY; along with her in-laws, extended family, and many dear friends. Private memorial will be held with her family. Those wishing may honor her memory with a donation to the Corning Cancer Center, or a local cancer service provider assisting those in need.
