Obituary of Ann Jean Rennie

Ann Jean (Brown) Rennie Age 93, went home to be with her Lord on January 27, 2026. She was the second daughter born to the late Howard Brown and Annabelle Smith on July 21, 1932 in Roseville, PA. She is predeceased by her sister Marjorie Jane Grant and son-in-law's Thomas C. Brewer, and Dean V. Neubauer. She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years Carlton D. "Pete" Rennie; children Beth A. Brewer, Steven C. Rennie and Kimberly J. Neubauer; grandchildren Keri Ann (Scott) Jessie, Alison R. Brewer, Jason (Lindsay) Neubauer, Bryan (Jen) Neubauer, Laura (Christopher) Carroll, Matthew (Alexandra) Rennie, Micheline (Nathan Brown) Rennie; great grandchildren Rachel Jessie, Delaynie Jessie, Stella Brewer, Zoey Neubauer, Aubrey Neubauer, Liam Carroll, Hailey Neubauer, Eloise Neubauer, Connor Carroll, Finley Rennie, Isla Rennie, Lyra Brown; brother Howard J. Brown Jr. as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Ann was a woman of deep faith who attended Community Wesleyan Church. She was an accomplished self-taught seamstress who also found joy in quilting, crocheting and knitting. She loved being a homemaker and spending time in the kitchen baking, canning, and pickle making. She could always be found with a smile on her face with whatever task she was completing. In her down time, she was an avid reader of Amish books. Ann was a past Matron of the Easter Stars, Twilight Chapter in Corning, New York. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, NY, on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm. Her funeral service will be held there at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ann's church, Community Wesleyan Church, are welcome to celebrate her memory. A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best.
