Obituary of Julia A. Rodman

Julia A. Rodman Age 81, of Van Etten, NY was born November 24, 1944 in Waverly, NY the daughter of the late Richard and Theresa (Doane) Russell. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Her sister, Linda Jane Russell; brothers, Raymond Charles Russell, Richard Burton Russell and John Melvin Russell also preceded her in death. On January 27, 2018, her loving husband of 53 years, Sherwood A. Rodman also predeceased her. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Scott Rodman of Van Etten, NY; Janna (Kent) Kresovich of Baldwinsville, NY; adored grandchildren: Jeffrey Rodman, Ty Rodman, Keri Disidoro, Stephanie Rodman, George Kresovich and John Kresvoich; and great grandson, Leonidas Berger; along with nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. For most of her life, Julia was an Elementary teacher with the Spencer/Van Etten School District, retiring after many dedicated years of service. In honoring her wishes there will be no services. Barber Funeral Home is assisting the Rodman family.
