Obituary of Audrey Davidson

Audrey Davidson Age 82 of Horseheads, and formerly of Southport, NY. She was born July 9, 1944 in Elmira, NY and passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27th, 2026. Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Michael Davidson; parents Michael J. Oreshack, Francis and Dorothy LaBore; brother Robert E. LaBore, and niece Stephanie LaBore; as well as her brother David M. Oreshack. She is survived by her brother Paul A. (Fara) Oreshack; nephew Kurt, (Bridy) Oreshack, Vivienne, Brooks, Brody; nephew Kyle (Susie) Oreshack, Carter, Cameron, Cole; niece Kayleigh (Tuan) Oreshack, Hayden; nephew Kevin (Kaitlin) Oreshack, Lincoln, Guinevere; niece Stacy (Tom) Witzel, Jarryd, Jayden; sisters-in-law Nancy Oreshack, and Susan LaBore; along with extended family and dear friends. Together with Michael, Audrey owned and operated both the Paint Box supply store and A&M Marine Aquarium. She also worked many years with St. Joseph's Hospital as a courier. Her driving spirit to keep busy and work in the service of others was evident in all walks of her life. In contrast to her sociable and hard working 'day jobs' she greatly appreciated her privacy of their rural homestead, and a peaceful drive in the country. She was an animal lover, just like Michael, and loved having her dogs around. She was fun loving, and found a passion of collecting – especially Norphin dolls. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched and by her family whom she leaves. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, NY on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, from 1 pm to 2 pm. Audrey's funeral service will be held there at 2 pm. She will be laid to rest in a private committal ceremony in Woodlawn Cemetery. Elmira. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may honor Audrey with a donation to the Chemung County SPCA.
