Obituary of Nancy L. Manwaring

MANWARING, Nancy L. (Stahle) Age 76, of Breesport, NY. Nancy was born August 1, 1950 in Troy, PA, the daughter of Kenneth and Onalee (Jacobs) Stahle. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at home, on Friday, August 7th, 2026. In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald E. Manwaring in 2018; as well as her brother Keith, and Gene Stahle; and brothers-in-law Fran, Jerry, and Jim. She is survived by her daughter Carol Manwaring of Breesport, NY; son Mark (Mary) Manwaring of Elmira, NY; grandchildren Amanda Rosekrans and Reagan Manwaring; great grandson Hunter Rosekrans; sisters Bonnie, Linda, and Diane Stahle; with extended family, and many dear friends. Nancy is remembered not only by her family, but by all those whose lives she touched. From working for Bradlee's, Ames, and finally retiring from the Elmira Savings Bank after nearly 20 years, she encountered so many wonderful people. A self described hardcore Yankees fan, Nancy also got out with local leagues to bowl and play softball. She always appreciated time with family, enjoying camping trips or simply time gathered together. As with Don, following her requests, there will be no services, with a future Celebration of Nancy to be announced. Those wishing may honor her memory by supporting your local Hospice programs.
