I'll remember Bob as a fun-loving, sharp-witted, and caring man. I last visited with him in July, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to chat with him one final time before he passed. While I'd typically only see him once or twice a year (when we would travel down to Horseheads in the summer and/or at Christmas), I always enjoyed the opportunities I got to hang out with him at the barber shop or at some random diner over breakfast.
I'll miss Bob, but it's comforting to know he's resting peacefully now.

Bob was such a close, loyal, trusting, and important friend to us for so many decades, it is hard to imagine he is no longer with us. Although his exterior persona didn't always suggest it to some, he was a sensitive, caring, and loving man. He loved his son, daughters, brother, sister, and grandchildren so much, he bragged and talked about them continuously. His famous storytelling and positive energy were infectious. His sense of humor was second to none and kept people in stitches wherever he went. We think and talk about him daily and it makes us feel both good and sad at the same time. We loved him dearly and our lives were enriched because of him. Rest peacefully, our great friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. We knew Chopper thru Craig, his devoted and loving brother. There was not a topic that was off limits for Chopper and he would tell you the way it was, if it was true or not! We had many hours laughing and enjoying just being around Bob. We know he is up with Haney and Granny and we will all be able to laugh at his jokes again, someday. Craig, you have been such a good brother and friend, as you are to all of us. Know that your brother loves you and knows all you've done, and I'm sure the rest of the family has been great. We're sorry we can't be there to help you thru this, but you certainly are foremost in our thoughts.

this is another sad event for all of us from Bob's
era. to me bob was like a brother. a person could not have a better friend. Horseheads could not have a better friend.
ALL of Bob's family are in my thoughts. including Dorothy.
the last few years have been miserable times but now he is able to have a chat with rod rodabaugh
and others for an eternity.
