Obituary of Edward J. Sakowski

Sakowski, Edward J. age 88, of Horseheads, NY, passed away on October 24, 2015. He and his wife lived in western New York until October 30, 2011, when they moved to Appleridge Senior Living Center in Horseheads. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Geraldine; three children, Mark Sakowski, Janine Witte and Jonathan Sakowski; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Ed served in the First Cavalry Division of the US Army as First Sergeant. He graduated from Houghton College and was an educator with various administrative responsibilities in Erie County, Wyoming County and Orleans County.
