Obituary of Goldie H. Keough

Keough, Goldie H. age 93 of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 7, 2016. Goldie was born March 5, 1922, in Ulysses, PA, to George and Alice (Baker) Whitesell. She was predeceased by her loving husband of over 75 years, Oliver F. Keough, in June 2015. Goldie is survived by her loving family, son and daughters, Wayne (Reva) Keough of Horseheads, NY, Alice Keough of Elmira Heights, NY, Deanne (Wayne) Knapp of Horseheads, NY; daughter-in-law, Kathy Keough; grandchildren, Lisa (Jim) Swinson, Wayne Keough, Jr., Lola Keough, Shayna Keough, Apryl (Kevin) Knapp, Brian (Valory) Keough, Dennis (Christine) Keough, Jason (Amy) Keough, Laura (Tim) Sarnak, Susan Keough; sister, Reva Clark of Andover, NY; brother, Glen Whitesell of Erin, NY; 20 great grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; nieces, nephews; and many close and caring friends. She was also predeceased by her son, Lloyd, in 2015; granddaughter, Bonnie in 2007; siblings, Effie, Clarence, Tressie, Robert, Helen, Elsie, Lawrence, Ervin, Allen, Alvin, Rita, and Francis. Goldie was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church and a devoted homemaker. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, Inc., 413 South Main St., Horseheads on Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 11:00am-1:00pm.
