I want to offer my condolences to the Evans family. It truly hurts to lose a love one in death. Even Jesus wept when Lazarus died(John 11:35) and our Creator promise to take this enemy, death, away forever at Isaiah 25:8; 1 Corinthians 15:26. I hope these words give you comfort.

I'm sorry to hear of Art's passing but take comfort knowing he is now home with Rose and Richard. My sympathies to you all.

Art was our idea of the perfect neighbor. One we hardly knew was there (except when his cows strayed into our lawn), yet one who was always there to help out if he knew we needed it (there are many instances when he came to our rescue when we have no idea how he knew we needed help). We will miss his friendly smile and wave every time he drove by either in his truck or, more often than not, on his tractor hauling ""new"" hay to his animals, or ""used"" hay back to spread on the many fields he worked. It is obvious to us that he was a good father because none of his children strayed far from home. He was a soft spoken man from a generation whose values are rapidly disappearing. He will be sorely missed.

The world lost a good souls with Art's passing. Although he has been reunited with his beloved wife Rose, he will be forever missed.
