Obituary of Lois (Grippin) Montgomery

Montgomery, Lois (Grippin) Age 75 of Penn Yan, NY, passed away March 26, 2016, in Geneva, NY. Lois was born September 21, 1940, in Elmira, NY, to Leonard and Ruth (Green) Grippin. She is survived by sons, Michael (Belinda) Montgomery, and Mark Montgomery; daughter, Lynn Lusby all of TX; mother, Ruth Grippin of Penn Yan; grandchildren, Matthew & Megan, Nicole & Jorden, Adrian & Mike, Christopher & Amy, Brittain, and Devon; Great grandchildren, Evelyn and Victoria McKinley; siblings, Jack Grippin of Horseheads, Larry Grippin of Penn Yan, and Avis (Andy) Lipson Rochester ; special friend, Lorraine Davis; special cousins, Franklin and Erlyn Husted. In addition to her father, Lois was also predeceased by her Daughter- in-Law Tanya Montgomery, nephew, Jeremy Bogart; and Sister-in-law, Kathleen Grippin. Lois loved her dogs, Charlie and Bella. Prior to her illness, she loved to dance. Lois also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was an avid reader. She loved her family very much. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, Inc., 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 12:00 Noon – 1:00PM.
