Obituary of Roger M. Goyette, Sr.

GOYETTE, Roger Moesel Sr. Age 82 of Babcock Rd. Horseheads passed away Mon. May 9, 2016. He was born in Ithaca, NY to the late Harvey and Bessie (Moesel) Goyette Sr. Roger is survived by his wife, Ruth (Rathbun) Goyette; Son and daughters, Roger Goyette Jr. of Ithaca, Karen (Phil) Corby of Williamsport, PA, Teresa (Bob) Morris of Kitty Hawk, NC; Grandchildren, Barbara Goyette, Joshua and Matthew Beverly, Raven and Chasse Goyette; Great grandchildren, Kirstin and Ben Weber and Lindzey Goyette; Brother, Harvey Goyette Jr. of Groton, NY; sister-in-law, Carol Lyn Rathbun; brothers-in-law, Glenn and Paul (Linda) Rathbun; nieces and nephews., Roger was also predeceased by his brothers, Andrew Brazo and Richard Goyette. Roger was Co-owner of Naglee Moving and United Van Lines in Elmira Heights. He was a veteran of the US Air force, member of American Legion Post #443, Masonic Lodge #95 F. A.M., Corning Consistory and Cashmere Grotto. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Friday May 13, 2016 from 2-3:00 pm.
