I was distressed at being unable to attend visiting hours due to a migraine headache. Shirley was an enthusiastic member of our book club,""Lit Lovers."" I was always glad to see her big smile and hear her comments about the book of the day. I'd like her family to know that I and the other members of our club will miss her terribly. When I first talked to her after her diagnosis I had a sense that she might be able to return to book club eventually but we did not see her again. I am sorry for our loss and the loss of all she touched and loved.
