Obituary of Barbara L. Kline

KLINE, Barbara L. Age 80 and long time resident of Philo Rd. West passed away Tues Feb. 7, 2017 at Schuyler Hospital. Barbara was born in Elmira, NY, on April 6, 1936 to the late Donald and Ethel (Lewis- Combs) McCann. She was predeceased on June 23, 2008 by her devoted husband of 53 years, Reuben Kline Jr. Her surviving family includes her mother, Ethel Combs of Horseheads, NY; Daughters and sons, Marian (Michael) Ameigh of Watkins Glen, NY, Penny (William) Lewis of Burdett, NY, Gerald Kline of Okeechobee, FL, Lewie (Linda) Kline of Campbell, NY, Joseph (Rachel) Kline of Waverly, NY; 8 Grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors including, Rosie Edger of Horseheads and Linda Meyers of Pine Valley. Half-sisters, Debbie Howell, Marion Pulaski, Linda Giannotti and half brother, Darrin McCann; Sisters-in-law, Olive Kline of Erin, NY and Geraldine Straup of Middleburg, PA. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed baking crocheting and caring for her family. Barbara and her husband also delivered for the Star Gazette for many years. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Sat. Feb. 11, 2017 from 10:00 am-12:00 noon.
