Obituary of Bonnie L. (Francisco) Sharp

SHARP, Bonnie L. (Francisco) Age 66 of Pine Circle Ext, Horseheads, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday May 6, 2017. Bonnie was born in Elmira October 20, 1950 to Raymond and Dorothy (Clearwater) Francisco. She is survived by her husband, David Sharp of Horseheads; daughters, Sheila Sharp of Havelock, NC, Pamela (Thomas) DiFilippo of Forest Hill, MD, Kimberly (Ryan) McDermott of Garden City, NY; grandchildren, Lindsey (Ryan) Burtscher, David (Charity) Grazioso, Kirstie Seeley, Kyle and Mallory DiFilippo, Kullen, Logan and Masyn McDermott; great grandchildren, Jasper Farren, Raymond and Samuel Seeley; sisters and brothers, Darlene (James) O’Neill of Elmira, NY, Steve (Susan) Francisco of San Clemente, CA, Suzanne Francisco of Corning, NY, Ronald (Nga) Francisco of Horseheads; and several nieces and nephews; many friends; co-workers. Bonnie worked at Southern Tier Pediatrics and in the office of Dr. Finnerty for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with family. Her beautiful heart and caring nature nurtured and healed so many. Bonnie will be forever remembered for her smile and her ability to light up a room. Anyone who had ever met her, even for a brief moment, had fallen in love with her. Her genuine heart is felt by all who knew her. Services with Barber Funeral Home Horseheads took place privately.
