Obituary of Rita A. Greenwalt

GREENWALT, Rita A. Age 86 and formerly Pine City and Victory Highway in Painted Post passed away June 15, 2017. Rita is survived by her husband, W. Russell Greenwalt of Horseheads and son, Tim (Sheila) Greenwalt and Grandson, Curtis Greenwalt all of Spencer NY. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Bobby and predeceased by her siblings, Anna Knowland, Ella Polk and Ernest (Virginia) Miller. Rita was born in Buffalo and raised by her grandparents, Robert and Belle (Curtis) Miller. Belle was cousin to the late Glenn H. Curtis, Aviation Pioneer in Hammondsport, NY. Rita and Russ were longtime members of Painted Post Methodist Church. She was retired from the former Dean Witter in Elmira where she was their Operations Manager.
