Obituary of Russell Spencer

SPENCER, Russell G. Age 77 of Horseheads, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 14, 2018. He was born in East Smithfield, PA and is survived by his loving companion of 33 years, Pam Golden; Children, Bonnie (Anthony) DeFelice, Burr (Sheila) Spencer, Emily (Ken) Adams, Eric Spencer, Holly (Nate) Wilson, Dan (Julie) Spencer, Jessica Spencer, Annalie Spencer; 10 grandchildren; brother, Carl Spencer; sisters, Emogene Weaver, Cathy Seymour, and Mary Jane DeWitt, and a host of extended family members and friends. He was also predeceased by his parents and 3 brothers. Spence was a member of the American Legion, veteran of US Army, and retired from Adtranz and American LaFrance. He loved his “Farm”, being outdoors, lending a helping hand to others, his tractor and above all else, his family. Service with Barber Funeral Home Horseheads will take place privately.
