Obituary of Bruce MacGowan

MacGowan, Bruce R. of Pine Valley NY, formerly of East Patchogue passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at the age of 80. Born on April 11, 1938 to John and Evelyn MacGowan of Fair Lawn New Jersey. Bruce proudly served in the Navy and Coast Guard. He enjoyed shooting at the gun range and had a love for animals. He was strong, stubborn and spunky. Bruce is survived by his three children, Reid MacGowan and his wife Lisa, Dawn Zambito and her husband John, and Ian MacGowan; and five grandchildren, Carla, Marisa, Thomas, Samantha and Ariella. Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service of Military Honors on Friday June 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Woodlawn National Cemetery 1825 Davis St. Elmira NY 14901.
