Obituary of Bettie M. Grover

Age 68 of Horseheads. She was born June 2, 1950, Daughter of the late John E. and Betty (Woodard) Smith and passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son John Huhta Jr. and her sister Sharon Blair. Bettie is survived by her children; David (Maria) Springer, Dale Grover, and Kimberly Toote; her beloved grandchildren, Jeremiah, John, Jaiden, Jermain, and Chanel; sisters Patricia Smith and Michelle (James) Evans, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Bettie is remembered as a mother figure to most all of her neighborhood; she went out of her way to give help where it was needed. She was uncompromising in her life. It was her way, or no way.
