Obituary of Nanette M. Wood

WOOD, Nanette M. Age 61 of Millport passed away at home after a brief battle with cancer on Jan. 28, 2019. Nan was born in Elmira to Don and Betty (Rossi) Wood. She is survived by her siblings, Mike (Mary) Wood, Donna (Mike Benjamin) Tangorre, Laurie (Jerry) Blaasch, Don (Melissa) Wood and Christina (Jeff) Crum; Many nieces, nephews and friends. Nan was also predeceased by her longtime companion Albert Dunkle, her grandparents, Alexander and Christina Rossi, Ruben and Gertrude Wood, parents, Don and Betty Wood and dear aunt, Rose Campanelli. Nan was a hardworking, caring and generous lady. She was a Legal Assistant for John G. Groff Esq. in Horseheads for many years. Those wishing may remember Nan with memorials to the American Cancer Society 13 Beech St. Johnson City NY 13790. Services and interment with Barber Funeral Home in Horseheads will take place privately.
