Roena ""Roe"" Lovell was the kindest, most loving, giving person you could ever meet. She always enjoyed being around her family and friends. She was the life of the party with her jokes and funny comments. Roena was there for you, whenever you needed her. Throughout her life she was always involved in her Church and her Church family. She volunteered for various things, but the Elmira Library was her most favorite place. She attended Elmira College later in life to become a Nurses Aid. This allowed her again to take care of others. This was an accomplishment she was extremely proud of! She then started to work as a Home Health Aide. Roena enjoyed reading, playing board games, doing puzzle books, teddy bears, drives to Seneca Lake or Harris Hill, and going for ice cream. She had a love for traveling that she shared with her husband, Robert. They would take short and long trips to enjoy new places. Roena even made it all the way to Germany, where her daughter Janette, and her family were stationed on military assignment. Roe will be remembered as an amazing woman who was beautiful both inside and out.
Private services will be held; Roena will be laid to rest with family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
