Obituary of Patricia Garlick Moyer

Patricia Garlick Moyer Age 94 of Front Royal, VA, formerly of Horseheads, NY, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Fox Trail Assisted Living in Front Royal. Mrs. Moyer was born September 9, 1926 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur Spear and Marjorie Bigelow Spear. She was an administrative assistant for Horseheads Public Schools. She was married to Eugene H. Garlick, Sr. who died December 20, 1974. She was later married to Chester P. Moyer who died October 13, 2010. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Rev. Keith R. Conover, and by two grandsons. Surviving are her children, Eugene H. Garlick, Jr. of Montclair, VA, Lee Ann Conover of Winchester, VA, Gerald Garlick (Sally) of Simsbury, CT, and Carol Sue Garlick of Orange, CT; four step-sons, Philip Moyer (Patrice) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Chester Moyer (Therese) of Webster Grove, MO, David Moyer (Mary) of Hammondsport, NY, and Michael Moyer (Priscilla) of Greencastle, PA; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a personal therapy dog, Jill; and too many grand fur babies to count. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 from 6 – 8 PM as well as on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church of Horseheads, 2943 Westinghouse Rd., Horseheads, NY from 10 – 11 AM. Patricia’s funeral service will be held there at 11 A.M. with Rev. Aaron Frank officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads.
