Obituary of Richard Alan Knapp

Richard Alan “Ricky” Knapp Age 61 of Elmira. He was born September 16th 1960 in Elmira, NY, the son of Richard Earl Knapp and the late Jeanne (Hanlon) Knapp, and went to his rest, peacefully, on Friday, October 1st 2021. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his wife, Jenny Knapp in 2018. Ricky is survived by his son Richard Thomas Knapp; his father Richard Earl Knapp with his wife Louise; along with siblings Kim (Denis) Clute and Sue Barsavage; with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Ricky was a 1978 graduate of EFA. He greatly enjoyed woodworking and working outdoors. He worked to provide a place to stay, as well as support for others who were amputees.
