Obituary of James C. Kreisler

James C. Kreisler, age 55, known as Jim to his friends and family, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Jim was born in Wellsboro, PA on August 5, 1966, to the late Clayton and Constance (Price) Kreisler. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Brandy Kreisler; children Elizabeth Kreisler (18) and Travis Kreisler (11) of Big Flats, NY; sister, Karen Wagner of Houston, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Diane Van Order and Donna Randolph. Jim was raised in Elkland, PA and graduated from Elkland High School. He attended Elmira College and graduated with a degree in English Literature, after which Jim worked as a Systems Engineer for 30 years at Westinghouse / Eaton. Jim was a man of many interests, most recently amateur radio. He just recently gained his technician-class license, earning the call sign KD2WTP. He was also involved in 3D printing, comics, computing, and mass-media collecting. He was a good friend. Most importantly, Jim was the best father and husband anyone could have ever asked for. Jim will be laid to rest at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, TX. There are no calling hours or services at this time. A memorial will be held in the early Summer for friends and family to gather and celebrate the life of this wonderful man.
