I have such fond memories of Mrs.Jane Palmer.
Fabulous writings above. Salute to the writer and the editor(s)!
My overriding memory right now, in finding out of her passing, is of a nite when the boys and their buddies played some typical Kill Ball in the Barn and when we came in to finally Relax, she made us a TON of Corn on the Cob to put some substance in our belly.
Man, she was a Hoot! Nobody better then her ... ;)
Thanks to all of the Palmers for some kick ass memories.

To Gene and entire family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We had many fun trips to the BUFFALO BILLS GAMES! One was even -14 below zero with the wind chill! It didn’t keep us from tailgating! Gary’s homemade chili tasted great once we were able to get it warmed up on the propane grill! The pot had to be thrown out from being so badly burnt on the bottom! Gene always had his cigars and George had his flask of black berry brandy! Everyone brought a dish to pass! GREAT FUN with family and friends! Jane loved every minute of it!
Jane was a member of the Veteran Historical Society and we all had a great time making the TOWN QUILT that is now hanging at the Historical Society/Grange Building at 777 Ridge Rd. Horseheads. Jane loved making a difference in everything she did. She was an inspiration to all of us and she will surely be missed by all. Love and hugs from Gary & Marlene Little Family

Mrs Palmer was my elementary PE teacher at Cohen and worked there with my mother. She was one of my favorites and between her and Mrs Kane the reason I also became a PE teacher. She was so fun and had the best energy. What a life she lived! I'm so sorry for your loss but always remember she touched so many lives!
