Obituary of Lorraine C. Cobb

COBB, Lorraine C. Age 83 of Sing Sing Rd. Horseheads passed away June 12, 2022. Lorraine was born on July 19, 1938 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Charles Weseley and Grace Sadie (Mattison) Clark. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dear husband of nearly 56 years, Laurence M. Cobb. Lorraine is survived by her sons, Theodore (Cynthia) Cobb of Horseheads, and Timothy Cobb of Burke, VA; grandchildren, Chaela (Jake) Dugat, Kyleigh (Wayne) Rogers, Elizabeth, Ilhea, and Dakota Cobb; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Talia, Charlotte, and Carson; many extended family members and close, caring friends. Lorraine was a devoted and active member of Horseheads First United Methodist Church. She retired after working as a registered nurse for over 40 years. She worked for Elcor, Arnot Odgen Medical Center and American LaFrance. She was a beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Family and friends are invited to attend her service in the Chapel of the First United Methodist Church 1034 W. Broad St. Horseheads, NY on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 am. Family and friends will also be received in the Chapel from 10:30 am until 11:00 am prior to her service. A family interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
