Obituary of Glen E. Whitesell

Glen E. Whitesell, age 98 of Erin, NY passed on August 22, 2022. Dad will be remembered as loving, caring, clever, and a hard worker by all who knew him. Dad was a proud farmer who owned and worked his farm as well as working for U.S. Steel for over 35 years. Glen was a creative man who could fix many things, and was always willing to give help and a hug to all who needed it. Through this mentality, he earned the love and respect of everyone he met. Dad spent 57 wonderful years with his devoted wife Mary until her passing in 2005. He is survived by his sister Reva (Carl) Clark; children Joyce Murray (Skip Root), Glen (Judy) Whitesell, and Janet (Mike) O'Brien; step children Art (Linda) Radley, and Lyle (Debbie) Radley; along with many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Private services will be held with his family.
