Obituary of Joseph W Seeley

Joseph W. Seeley Age 51 of Berkshire, NY. Joseph was born January 27, 1971 in Elmira, NY, son of the late John R. and Lynda (Kligel) Seeley, and passed away on Saturday, October 29th 2022. In addition to his father, Joseph was predeceased by his brother Jeff. He is survived by his mother Lynda; brother John (Pam) Seeley; sister Lisa Lynn (James) Nopper; his best friend, Ben (Kelley Lane) Poirier; dear friend Sherry Fritsch; along with all those whose lives he touched. Joseph was always a hard worker, and an adrenaline junkie to boot. His love of snowmobiling was matched by his love of fast cars. He built his own home with the help of his best friend Ben, and was working on a garage for his "toys". Joseph faced a battle with his health for many years, but he never slowed down. He embraced life, and had a firm mentality that he had nothing to be stressed about. Joseph lived in spite of his illness, determined to get the most out of each day. A dear friend, beloved son, brother, and much more to so many; he will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 14th 2022 at St. Mary Our Mother Catholic Church, 816 W. Broad St., Horseheads, NY 14845 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations in Joseph's name to The Lost Trail Snowmobile Club PO Box 604, Boonville, NY 13309.
