Obituary of Betty L. Starck

Betty L. Starck (Goodwin) Age 96 of Horseheads, NY. She was born May 2, 1926 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Robert & Augusta (Fields) Goodwin. She passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19th 2022. In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband of 72 years, Carl Starck in 2017. She is survived by their daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (Ed) Ramsdell; grandchildren Brenda (Chuck) Metcalfe, Kim Benton, Jeff (Shone) Ramsdell; great-grandchildren Taylor (Summer) and Connor Flesch, Will and Logan Knowles, and Tajahaia Ramsdell. Betty was proud homemaker, and a dearly loved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her pride was in her family. She always enjoyed any time she could swim, go roller skating, and even snow mobiling. Family and friends are invited to visit the Barber Funeral Home, 413 S. Main St., in Horseheads, NY on Monday, December 26th 2022 from 10 am to 11 am. Her funeral services will be held at 11 am. Betty will be laid to rest with Carl in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, at a later date. Those wishing may honor Betty with a donation to a charity of your choice.
