Obituary of Mellisa Berry

Mellisa "Lisa" E. Berry Age 54 of Pine City, NY. She was born June 21st 1968 in Elmira, NY. Lisa passed away unexpectedly on Easter Sunday April 9th 2023. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents John & Margaret (Williams) Brown, paternal grandparents Clifford & Bernice Berry; uncle James Brown; and nephew James Stermer Wandell. She is survived by her parents Dan and Jacqueline (Brown) Berry; son Michael Berry; daughter Alisha Berry; grandchildren Aleesa, Haylee, Michael, and Aleeah Berry. Brother Christopher (Mary) Berry, nephews; Jared, Aaron, Casey, Tyler, Cassondra, Greg, Rebecca, Christopher. Aunt Deborah Brown, nephew Rich (Steph) Jamie, niece Amy (Matt) Coston, Megan and Payton. Aunt Regina (Bill) Biroscak, nieces Gina-Cheree, Cheree and Jack Brown. Elaina (Tyler) Howard, Emlia. Hanna and Margaret Glosenger. Uncle Ronald (Andriana) Brown, and two nieces Angelina, Annabella; along with extended family, many friends, and canine companions including Bandit, Lacey, Parrish, Teddy, & Winnie. Lisa was a diabetic since age 7, with many major complications that she overcame during those years. Lisa loved animals; in addition to her many beloved Shih-tzu puppies, she has kept a goat, a bull, and chickens while also maintaining a hobby as a beekeeper; maintaining her garden. She worked for Vulcraft, was a postal clerk in PA, and a home health aide. Private viewing will be held; Lisa will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family, and good friends Gary Hess, Brian Erickson, David Jackson and many others. Also those lives she touched.
