My most recent memory of my grandpa is watching him smile and clap at my 6 month old daughter in December 2021. He didn't remember much at this point, I'm not even sure he knew who we were, but he still had joy and a smile from ear to ear interacting with her. He was always excited to see his family, even when his mind failed him in later years. We'll miss him.
