Obituary of David Gary Labar

David Gary LaBar Age 55 of Horseheads, NY. David was born February 20, 1968 in Elmira, NY, the son of Theodore J. and the late Cheryl (Brooks) LaBar. He passed away on Saturday, June 24th 2023. David went to work for Hardinge Inc., in Elmira Heights when he was just 18; he committed 37 years to his career as a machinist. Dave was a wonderful, loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He found joy in spending time at Seneca Lake, camping, boating, fishing and hunting. Dave had a big heart for friends and family, and was most at home grilling around the campfire with the people he loved. In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Tarra (Jesse) Rea of Burdett, NY, with their son Vince; brother Theodore "Ted" J. LaBar Jr.; his partner Christine Golden, and their pup Gypsy; with her daughters Emily(Sam) and their children Evan, Lukas and Shaylah, as well as Kaliann, & Avarie(Kenny) Brill.
