Obituary of L. Irene Cortright

CORTRIGHT, L. Irene Was born Dec. 8, 1925 and passed away April 22, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Irene was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Cortright; great grandson, Anthony “AJ” Rhodes; brother-in-law, James Cortright; sister Leatha Brock; brother, Lavern “Bubby” Goodrich; and her parents. She is survived by daughters, Jacquie (Skip) Stabel, Diana (Ron) Ness; son, Donald (Karen) Goodrich; step-son, John Cortright; special niece,. Donna Brock and friend JoAnn Mitchell. Grandchildren, Shari( Scott) Conover, Charlene (Cliff Rich) Reeves, John (Lisa) Reeves, Shannon Goodrich, Jerry Goodrich, Step granddaughters, Belinda (Dell) Geldmeyer, Daisy (Chuck) Geldmeyer Several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; Sisters, Luella Wilkerson and Leona Tittamer; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Winifred Cortright, Larry (Irene) Cortright, Ross (Elaine) Cortright. Irene had been a member of “Topps” Van Etten, NY for the past 30 years, also a member of the VFW in Sayre, PA for many years. She had been a great friend to many and will be greatly missed, always loved, and never forgotten. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wellsburg Fire Dept. PO Box 23, Wellsburg, NY 14894. Family and friends are invited to a memorial in her honor at the Wellsburg Fire Department on April 30, 2011 from 2-4:00 pm. Together once again Mom and Dad RIP.
