Obituary of Jack Stansfield

STANSFIELD, Arthur J. “Jack” Age 84 of Johnson Hollow Rd. Beaver Dams passed away June 8, 2011. He was born Dec. 26, 1926 in Horseheads. He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years, Ruth (Lawrence) Stansfield; Daughters and sons, John (Mary) Stansfield of Farmington, NY, Jeffrey (CoraLee) Stansfield of Potter, NY, JoAnn Killingsworth of Beaver Dams, NY, Janet Haynes also of Beaver Dams, NY; Grandchildren, Emily (Scott) Nesbit, Elizabeth (Jason Hermance) Stansfield, Danielle Haynes, Ashley Killingsworth, Todd Allen, Christina Kiss; Great grandchildren, Lauren, Griffin, and Camden; Sister, Marie Blencowe of Swartwood, NY and brother, Thomas (Marilyn) Stansfield of Breesport, NY, And several nieces and nephews. Jack was a US Army veteran of WWII and a retired Machinist with Bendix Eclipse. Jack loved his family, being with his grandchildren and hunting and fishing. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Tuesday June 14, 2011 from 3-5:00 pm. A service will follow at 5:00 pm.
