Meredith was born in Elmira, New York to the late Norman Leon McClelland and Loretta Margery Hawley on December 18, 1937.
She is survived by her sons, James F. (Lynn) Farr II of Sherwood, Oregon, and John N. (Sylvie) Farr of Big Flats, New York; her grandsons James F. Farr, III, Matthew S. Farr, Benjamin R. Farr, and Henry M. Farr; her sister Johanne Noyes; and her nephew, Brian (Mariel) Noyes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her second husband, James H. Alongside her husband Jim, she found herself serving as manager for their business, Buck Mountain Contractors, for 30 years. While serving as manager, she also served as the dispatcher for the Long Lake Rescue Squad for many years. Beyond her careers, Mimi greatly enjoyed camping and getting away.
