Obituary of Betty P Miller

Elizabeth P. Miller “Betty” Age 85 of West Hill Road, in Elmira passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born June 2, 1926 in Cherry Flats, PA, a daughter to Morton and Edna (Henry) Parsons. She was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” Miller on October 4, 2003. Betty is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughters, Kathryn (Gordon) Pauling of Milford, PA, Judith (Timothy) Burdick of Big Flats, NY and Pam Tucci also of Big Flats, NY ; grandchildren, Adrienne (Brian) Howard, Vanessa Pauling, Joshua (Kristi) Pauling, Rachel Pauling, Mitchell and Ashley Burdick, Andrew Tucci and Amy (Michael) Belosky; great grandchildren, Justice Howard and Anna Pauling; brother, Charles “Skip” (Evelyn) Parsons of Wellsboro, PA; sister-in-law, Mary Jean (Dean) Payne of Montoursville, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother, Thomas Parsons. Betty was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist and served as their choir director for 35 years. She was the bookkeeper for West Hill Construction Company, and also employed by Ostrander Epicure Foods. Family and friends are invited to attend her service to be celebrated in Hillcrest Baptist Church, 115 West Hill Road, Elmira, NY on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside committal service to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira.
