When someone becomes a memory , the memory becomes a special treasure. To so many she was a special person who brought joy, happiness and laughter. I met Margaret when we shared a study hall when I was a freshman at EFA. Knowing her for so many years after it was always special for me when she was around. We were all blessed to have known her and the special qualities she possessed. My sincerest condolences to the OBrien children, her sisters and those close to her. “ In Gods arms she now will gently rest”
In my prayers

Margaret was a second Mom to dozens of us who grew up with Tim and Sean. Not only did she help raise us in our most formative years, her unconditional love and generosity with her home, her amazing cooking, her and Funseeker’s shared joy of hosting, listening, laughing, crying..made all of us into better people. Her second motherhood didn’t end when we “left the nest”. It extended well into our adult lives! I never missed an opportunity to stop by, with my own young daughter when I was in the neighborhood. It was never a bad time to stop by the O’Brien’s. We would’ve all been welcome, with open arms (and an open fridge!) I, and so many, can take comfort in knowing that Margaret and Big Tim are with one another now, as it’s always been and should be.
There are simply too many memories to share, here. But I am so grateful to Margaret and Funseeker for providing such a wonderful childhood and young adulthood for all of us “boys”.
Thank You, Margaret. Thank you for loving all of us, as your own. Tell Funseeker that we will never forget the joy and aughter that you brought us!
We love you!
Sincerely,
One of the Boys
