Obituary of Betty J. Amico

AMICO, Betty J. Age 74 of Leisure Lane in Horseheads passed away after a brief illness on Mon. June 27, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born Mar. 11, 1937 to Leroy and Frances Werner. Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael Amico; Sons, Ken (Marilyn) Amico of Attica, NY; John Amico of Horseheads, 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; Sisters and brothers, Elaine Chapman of PA, Dorothy Cabot of FL, Alice Finley of PA, Mary Lou (Barry) Hall of TX, Frances Wickins of NY, Sue (Scott) Shoemaker of PA, She was also predeceased by a daughter, Linda Amico-Knapp in 2006 and brothers, Leroy and John Werner. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker whose greatest joys were time spent with family. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Fri July 1, 2011 from 10-12:00 noon. Grave side committal service will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
