Obituary of Richard A. Reynolds

REYNOLDS, Richard A. Age 57 of Robinwood Ave. Elmira Heights passed away unexpectedly on Thurs Aug. 4, 2011 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Rich was born April 6, 1954 in Elmira to Ralph and Florence (Huddle) Reynolds Jr. He is survived by his daughter and son, Elizabeth Reynolds and Ricky Reynolds, with their mother, Debbie Reynolds all of Horseheads, NY; Brother and sisters, Sue and Tom Radford of Horseheads, Doug and Dawn Reynolds of Miami FL, Sharie and Ken Theetge Jr. of Cayuta, NY, Special and loving companion, Heidi Vary with her children, Alyssa, Kayla, Elijah and Olivia Vary all of Elmira, NY. Several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, in-laws, and many friends. Rich worked for GST Boces in the maintenance department for over 20 years. He graduated from Horseheads High School in 1972 and served in the US Navy. Rich enjoyed baseball, coached Little League Baseball and was a diehard St. Louis Cardinal fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. His hobby was helping family and friends with any carpentry work they needed done. He was a loving Dad to his children, always there if you needed a helping hand. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Monday Aug. 8, 2011 from 4-7:00 pm. His service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 am. The Rev. Patrick Holder will officiate.
