Obituary of Arnold E. Crout

CROUT, Arnold E. Age 72 of Pine Valley, NY, passed away Sat. Nov. 19, 2011 at Schuyler Hospital. Arnold was born Dec. 17, 1938, in Montour Falls, NY, a son to Clayton and Belva (Goultry) Crout. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carole (McCabe) Crout; Timothy (Laurie) Crout of Horseheads, Thomas (Elizabeth) Crout of Horseheads, Teri (David) Pitbladdo of Corning, Todd (Karen) Crout of Horseheads Tammy (Melton) Varner of Ridgeville, SC, and Troy (Nicole) Crout of Elmira Heights; Grandchildren, Kara Teeter and Jennifer (Shane) Leonberger, Shawn Crout and Caitlyn Hess, Alan and Julia Pitbladdo, Melissa and Michael Crout, Marquise and Racqual Ray, Honeste and Serenity Davis; Shelby Crout; Great-grandchildren, Jaret, Jaxon, Kylie, Aleah, Morgan, Ciana Zanaya and Zaveron; Sister and Brother, Clayton (Geri) Crout of Troy, PA, and Florence Wilbur of Watkins Glen, and sister-in-law, Susan McCabe of Elmira.; Arnie was a retired Auto Technician from the former Clute Motors in Horseheads. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting fishing and bowling. He was also an active auto racing enthusiast. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Tuesday Nov. 22, 2011 from 4-7:00 pm. A private service for family, extended family and close friends will be celebrated on Wednesday.
