Dear Skip, Judy, Creighton, Glenn & family,
We're just so shocked that this seemed to have happened so fast. Tho surely she did not want to linger in pain, we know there was much more life to be enjoyed. She so loved & appreciated you all. Betty was such a great support to me in my child rearing days & she never forgot birthdays & special days. She rejoiced in our joys & comforted in harder times. I remember when she was there to teach me things like using cornstarch on my summer baby's bottom & to help when Austin stuck a stone up his nose. She brought presents for the older siblings along with baby gifts for for each new family addition. She gave me many mothering tips & shared her child rearing days with me which was worth more than Freud. I can still hear the neighborly love in her voice.
May all the memories of her give you joy & may God's grace give you all comfort.
