Obituary of Harold D. Bacon

BACON, Harold D. age 84 of Elmira Heights passed away at home surrounded by his family on Feb. 28, 2010.He was born in Odessa NY on Oct. 17, 1925. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Wilcox) Bacon; daughters and son, Tammy (Kenneth) Forsyth of Elmira Heights, Eunice (Donald) Eno of Horseheads, Scott (Beth Pasto) Bacon of Ithaca; grandchildren, Eric, Shaun, Kenneth, Joe, Monica, Jeffery, Stephanie, Cheyanna, Donald, Adrianne, Ryan, Savannah; great grandchildren, Belle, Shaun Jr.; He was a longtime bartender and janitor at Snookies in Elmira and the former Italian Pantry and Shullman’s and was an avid fisherman and woodworker. Family and friend are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 So. Main St. Horseheads on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 3-4:00 pm. Where his service will follow at the funeral home at 4:00 pm. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.
