Obituary of Loreta W. Bowers

BOWERS, Loreta W. Age 88 and longtime resident of Rockwell Ave. passed away Sun. Sept. 30, 2012. Loreta was born in Jefferson, OH to Orien and Elvira (Robinson) Cornish. She was raised in Hammondsport, NY. Loreta was predeceased by her brother, Clyde Cornish in 1975. She is survived by her brothers, Carl Cornish and Earl Cornish both of Horseheads and several other extended family. She worked as a personal in home caregiver in the Elmira Heights as well as working with Walter Gary Esq. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Wed. Oct. 3th from 6-7:00 pm and again Thurs Oct. 4th from 12:00 noon-1:00 pm where her service will follow at 1:00 pm.
