Obituary of Carol Seymour

Carol A. Seymour Age 64 of Vargo Road, in Horseheads passed away after a brief illness with brain cancer on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Corning Hospital. She was born in Elmira, November 18, 1948 to the late Robert and Lois (Wheet) Stocum. Carol is survived by her husband, Ken Seymour; sons, David (Cassie) Seymour of Corning , NY and Michael (Heather) Seymour also of Corning , NY; grandchildren, Ryker, Thomas, Remy, and Robert Seymour; mother, Lois Stocum of Horseheads, NY; brothers, Robert Stocum of Alpine, NY, Richard Stocum of Big Flats, NY and Dean Stocum Horseheads , NY. Carol dedicated her life to children. First as a teacher in the Watkins Glen Elementary for 6 years and then as a mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Together with her husband of 42 years they built their own home and ran a successful business for 19 years. Dogs played an important part in Carol’s life with Honey being her most recent.
