Obituary of Ruth Stansfield

STANSFIELD, Ruth J. (Lawrence) Age 77 of Johnson Hollow Road, Beaver Dams passed away May 23, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Ruth was born July 31, 1935 in Horseheads to Harry and Mary Ellen (Neily) Lawrence. She was predeceased by her husband Jack On June 8, 2011. Her surviving family includes daughters and sons, John (Mary) Stansfield of Farmington, NY, Jeffrey (CoraLee) Stansfield of Potter, NY, JoAnn Killingsworth of Beaver Dams, NY and Janet Haynes of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Emily (Scott) Nesbit, Elizabeth (Jason) Hermance, Danielle Haynes, Ashley Killingsworth, Todd Allen and Christina Kiss; great grandchildren, Lauren, Griffin, Camden and Aeden; predeceased by sisters Gretchen O’Buckley, Joan Evans and brother, Harry “Ray” Lawrence. Ruth was retired from the Guidance office with the Horseheads Central School District. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, 413 South Main Street, Horseheads on Thursday May 30, 2013 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm where her service will follow there at 1:00 pm. Rev. Meredith Tifft will officiate. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery will follow.
