Obituary of Yong C. Barrett

BARRETT, Yong C. age 63 of Sing Sing Rd. Horseheads passed away Feb. 27, 2010 at home. Yong was born In South Korea. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Barrett; sons, James Barrett of Horseheads Robert Barrett also of Horseheads; grandsons, Tyler and Aleck; several brothers and sisters and many friends and neighbors. Yong was a former employee of IST in Big Flats. She was a kind lady, loving wife, mother grandmother and friend. She was also a special “mom” to all her kids’ friends. Yong was a avid painter who also enjoyed quilting. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Thurs. April 1, 2010 from 1-3:00 pm. Her service celebrating her life will follow at 3:00 pm. Interment at a later date at the convenience of her family.
