Obituary of William W. Drury, Jr.

DRURY, William W. Jr. Age 54 of Elmira and formerly of Horseheads, passed away after an illness Sept. 11, 2014. Bill was born in Elmira to William and Carol (Woughter) Drury Sr. He is survived by his brothers, Jeff ( Tricia) Drury of Corning NY, Jim (Michelle) Drury of Kaufman, TX; Nieces and nephews, Abaigeal, Alaura, Brian and Tabitha, C.J., Caleb and Moureen. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his nephew, Brantley. Bill was the chairman of AA Intergroup and a sponsor to countless numbers of friends recovering to sobriety. In addition to his family he is also survived by his extended AA family with a special thanks to “Bill W.” and others who assisted him in his journey. At his request remember Bill with a Smile.
