Obituary of Frank J. Hauser

HAUSER, Frank J. Age 96 of West Broad St. in Horseheads passed away Sun., Nov. 30, 2014. He was born in West Haven, CT to Frank and Anastasia (Walsh) Hauser. Frank is survived by his wife, Martha (Smith) Hauser. Also surviving are daughters, Ruth Hauser also of Horseheads, Rita (Joseph) Scalia of Ballston Lake, NY; grandchildren, Jennie (Dan) Miller, Kevin Earle, Alissa Earle, and Nick Scalia; sister-in-law, Ann Hauser of Milford, CT; brother, Richard Hauser of Milford, CT; nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by brother, Robert. He was a retired music teacher from North Haven School District and was also the organist and choir director for several other churches including North Haven Congregational Church. He was an accomplished vocalist and pianist who could always be seen at his piano several hours each day. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at 2PM in the First Presbyterian Church, 2943 Westinghouse Rd, Horseheads with the Rev. Jonathan Knight officiating. A time of fellowship will immediately follow there in church. Burial will take place in Hector Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date.
