Obituary of Stephen J. Sekella

SEKELLA, Stephen J. Age 52 of Horseheads passed away unexpectedly on Wed. Dec. 10, 2014. Stephen was born in Elmira, NY on Sept. 13, 1962, to the late John R. and Katrina (Bush) Sekella. His surviving family includes his sisters, Deborah (Samuel) Perkins of Dayton, OH; Mary (Richard) Schrock of Horseheads, NY; Sister-in-law, Katina Sekella of Rochester, NY; several nieces and nephews and Many close and caring friends including special friend, Penny Evan; In addition to his parents, Steve was also predeceased by his brother, Thomas Sekella. Stephen was a big hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home, Inc., 413 S. Main St., Horseheads on Sun. Dec. 14, 2014, from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. His service celebrating his life will follow at 2:00 pm with family friend, Deacon George Welch officiating.
