Obituary of Dorothy E. Mott

Mott, Dorothy E. (Peterson) Age 96 of Horseheads passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Daniel G. Mott; and children, Dennis Mott, Terry W. Mott, Prudence Hufford, Dorothy Clark, and Bradley Mott. Dorothy was born on February 12, 1918, in Corning, NY to the late Claude and Clarinda (Corey) Peterson. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Brenda) Mott of Sayre, PA; daughters, Laura (Charles) Kennedy of Erin, NY, Clara (Paul) DeWitt of Douglasville, GA, and Lueann (Cliff Shroyer) Skelly of Horseheads, NY with son and special grandson to Dorothy, Kristopher Skelly of Fort Mills, SC; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; brother, Donald Peterson of Elmira, NY; canine and feline companions, Bella Lue, Sparkie, Tina, and Lilly; and special caregiver, Dorothy Bacon. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who loved her.
