Obituary of Robert S. Eiklor

EIKLOR, Robert S. Age 92 of Greenridge Drive, Horseheads passed away Fri. Feb. 6, 2015 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Scheepsma) Eiklor in 2003;daughters Karen Marie in 1983 and Kathy Ann in 2002., He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Christopher Cavallaro of Big Flats, NY; grandchildren, Robert and Dominic Cavallaro sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Hoskins of Elmira, NY and several nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Elmira Sept. 7, 1921 to Elmer and Arlena (Nichols) Eiklor. Bob was a retired Plant Superintendant with MacMillan Bloedell in Elmira Heights and a US Army Veteran of WWII Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and caregiver. “ We love you Dad” Services with Barber Funeral Home will be private. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira at the convenience of the family.
